Perry Van Bailey

Perry Van Bailey is a lifelong Mississippian, a proud graduate of Calhoun City High School (1981) and Mississippi State University (1985). He spent over three decades working with the USDA in land management, all while farming his own land through Bailey Farms, a family-run operation he still manages today.
Perry served as the Representative for District 23 after winning a special election in February 2023. He held the seat until January 2024, when he was succeeded by Andy Stepp.
Outside of public service, Perry is deeply rooted in his community. He’s a member of Derma Baptist Church, a board member of the Farm Bureau, and a founding member of the Calhoun County chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation. He’s also an avid hunter and an NRA member.
Perry and his wife, Tyanne (Suber) Bailey, have been married for 40 years. Tyanne is a retired teacher. Together, they’ve raised two children and are proud grandparents to five grandchildren.
Perry describes himself as a Christian conservative with common sense, and emphasizes that he is not a career politician but a public servant committed to his community.
Colby Bollinger

Colby Bollinger is a long-time resident of Calhoun County, a local business owner, and a proud graduate of Bruce High School (2005) and Northwest Community College (2007), where he earned a degree in Business Management.
He’s spent his career investing in Bruce and the surrounding areas — launching Snack Time Vending, which he later sold to Five Star Breaktime Solutions, where he now works as Director of Route Operations. He also manages laundromats and real estate properties, bringing firsthand experience in budgeting, operations, and business leadership to the table.
Colby married his high school sweetheart, Haley (Hamilton) Bollinger, in 2012, and together they’re raising two daughters active in softball and gymnastics. Colby enjoys being an involved parent — often found cheering from the sidelines — and when he saw an opportunity to help improve the Calhoun County School District, not only for his girls but for all children in the area, he stepped up. He ran in a tight race and has been an active member of the Calhoun County School Board since winning the election in November 2023, advocating for change by working to reduce administrative waste and prioritize resources for students and teachers.
